I’ve been a dual supervisor since 2013, and a grad school intern supervisor before that. My style of supervision is supportive and collaborative, with a strong understanding of ethics and the LPC and LMFT codes. Personally, I’m not a micro-manager, and my supervision sessions tend to be relaxed and conversational. I look for self-motivated, detail-oriented interns, so we can focus on client care and professional development. To ensure I’m able to provide high quality support, I only take on a limited number of interns at a time. The supervision relationship plays a significant role in your development as a counselor, and it’s important to find the right supervisor. I’d love to meet with you to see if we’re a good fit!
